Archaeological excavations in the garden of the Hotel de Hoogstraeten (private hotel), occupied by a councillor of Charles V in the 16th century, have started!
These excavations are being carried out at the request of Urban.brussels by the archaeology department of the company Archeologie Monument Vandekerckhove nv, prior to the construction of a future museum space.
Every Friday afternoon, a free guided tour is organised at 3 pm. Registration is required via info@coudenberg.brussels. The entrance is at the bottom of Villa Hermosa Street.
