Master in conservation and restoration of architectural, urban and landscape heritage

The program is practice-oriented and covers the entire process of a heritage restoration project, from the preliminary theoretical studies to the construction site.

The teaching is delivered by specialists from different faculties of the ULB and the VUB, but also from the public administration or the profession. Several classes take place in the field: construction sites, workshops, Brussels streets, IRPA, etc.

This master's degree is intended for academics such as architects, urban planners, historians, art historians and all professionals in the field of conservation (archaeologists, chemists, engineers, etc.) and heritage restoration who wish to improve their training. Other profiles can be accepted based on their professional experience (decision taken by the jury in the university's organising committee).
