Minor importance: Government decree update

New rules on exemptions for planning permission or procedural acts and limited term planning permission

As already announced, the decree amending the Decree of 13 November 2008, known as the "minor importance" decree, and the new decree repealing and replacing the Decree of 29 January 2004 relating to time-limited planning permits were approved by the Government in third and final reading on 18 March 2022.

They were published in the Belgian Official Gazette on 30 March 2022.

The articles of the aforementioned amending decree transposing the European directives on telecommunications and energy from renewable sources came into force 10 days after publication in the Belgian Official Gazette, i.e. on 9 April 2022.

The remainder of this amending decree, as well as the decree repealing and replacing the Decree of 29 January 2004 on time-limited planning permits, will come into force one month after their publication in the Belgian Official Gazette, i.e. on 30 April 2022.
