The Metropolis comparative study "Rethinking public space for a sustainable metropolitan future" has been completed!
This international project of the Brussels-Capital Region is the result of an exchange with Barcelona, Medellín, Montréal and Seoul on experiences with public spaces and was coordinated by Urban with Perspective and Brussels International. The objective was to analyse public space in the metropolis and how integrated and transversal policies can lead to more qualitative, inclusive, resilient and sustainable projects.
In April, Metropolis will also launch a platform on public spaces presenting, among others, this study, interviews and a wider study with good practices, including Brussels projects. More information will be available on the Metropolis website.
