A new tool, based on project research, has emerged and will complement the operational urban planning tools: the Projectlines.
The Projectlines are drawn up as part of a real estate transaction, prior to the sale of a building or a developed site. They do not apply to undeveloped land. The document below sets out the broad outlines of the spatial, programme-related, environmental and heritage objectives supported by the municipal and regional authorities for the development of a building or site. The aim is twofold: on the one hand, to establish upfront the conditions conducive to the development of a high-quality project. On the other hand, the tool aims to provide all potential buyers with the same level of information in a transparent manner, in order to ensure equal treatment and to limit speculation.
The Projectlines are drawn up and approved through consultation between the various regional and municipal bodies taking part in the project meeting.
