Youth Voices for Heritage: Call for applications

The Council of Europe is launching a new opportunity for young heritage professionals eager to help shape the future of Europe’s cultural heritage.

Youth Voices for Heritage is a three‑year pilot programme starting in 2026, designed to strengthen youth participation in heritage governance at the European level.

The initiative will establish a Youth Advisory Group within the European Heritage Days (EHD) programme, offering young professionals a structured platform to contribute to strategic discussions, including future EHD annual themes. Participants will also co‑create key outputs such as a Youth Vision for Heritage and a Youth Engagement Toolkit.

Open to young professionals involved in organising EHD events, the programme reflects the Council of Europe’s commitment to democracy, participation, and inclusion. By bringing together diverse youth perspectives from across Europe, Youth Voices for Heritage highlights heritage as a shared resource and a space for dialogue across generations.

Running from 2026 to 2028, the programme combines online activities with in‑person meetings in Strasbourg. All official programme‑related costs will be covered.
