Brussels Renaissance Festival and Urban's Archaeology Days united this year!

The Brussels Renaissance Festival is joining forces with Urban's Archaeology Days to give you the opportunity to experience a family event with friends or colleagues. A unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of heritage, European history during the Renaissance and archaeological research in the Brussels Region!

Whether you're a history buff or just curious, all these events will highlight activities that are just right for you.

The festival highlights the important role of Brussels. For the occasion, a wide selection of venues will be opening their doors to visitors: the archaeological laboratory of Urban, the church of Saint-Nicolas, the lapidary collection of the Palais du Coudenberg and many other places too.

Did you know that Charles V, the most powerful sovereign of the 16th century, had Brussels as his main residence? The city where he received his first inheritance in 1515 has since become the capital of 500 million Europeans.

For this edition, the event will run from Sunday June 2, 2024 to Friday July 5, 2024.
