The Brussels Secretary of State for Town Planning and Heritage,
Bety Waknine, CEO of Urban and
Christophe Slagmuylder, CEO & Artistic Director Bozar,
invite you to the launch event for the new issue of the "Brussels, City of Art and History" series, about the Centre for Fine Arts.
This 63rd issue of the series, published by Urban, pays tribute to a building that is almost a hundred years old. The Centre for Fine Arts, which has been painstakingly restored and modernised to meet today’s challenges, has been listed as a monument since 1977, and harmoniously blends architecture, technical infrastructure as well as cultural programming.
Join us on April 9th 2024 from 6 p.m. onwards for a discussion about the book at 6.30 p.m, with:
- Iwan Strauven, author, doctor of architecture and lecturer at the ULB
- Anne-Marie Pirlot, author, art historian and collaborator of the AAM/CIVA
- Barbara van der Wee, architect, specialist with regard to Victor Horta’s architecture and author of the Bozar Masterplan
