From exhibition to publication
To mark the 30th anniversary of the Sustainable Neighbourhood Contracts (SNC), Urban organised the exhibition “Urban forms of Brussels’ renovation” at the Halles Saint-Géry in 2024. This exhibition reviewed three decades of operational and inclusive urban renewal policy in the Brussels Region.
On the one hand, the exhibition highlighted the specific form of actions taken within the SNC, as well as the urban forms that these actions produce at different scales. On the other hand, a richly illustrated timeline was displayed, offering an overview of 30 years of urban projects in Brussels.
The content of the exhibition has now been compiled into a digital publication that demonstrates the scale and diversity of urban renewal projects in Brussels.
With this initiative, Urban confirms its commitment to sharing knowledge regarding urban challenges with the widest possible audience.
