Media Urban, a new online tool at your disposal

In keeping with its role as a public service, Urban is becoming more and more involved in the sharing and pooling of knowledge through increasingly extensive online publications and websites.

Media Urban has been developed to centralise, make accessible and archive all the images, videos and audio documents produced as part of Urban's missions.

→ The database currently comprises nearly 86.000 pictures!

This new tool provides you with a wealth of visual content: postcards, old documents and contemporary reports; these images reflect Urban's missions to study, promote, inform and publish. They are the result of successful collaboration with our partners and service providers.

All this documentation is currently presented under the following tree structure: Territory, Urban renewal, Urban planning and architecture, Cultural heritage, Events, Publications, Citizens' view. At the second level, each of these themes gives access to several collections. Within the database, you can search by address, by architect or by type, within one or more collections.

The interface provides a regular online feed of new photo stories produced or commissioned by Urban.

Most documents are made available to the public under the terms of the Creative Commons: Allocation - Share Alike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) licence. Copyrights, compulsory mentions and conditions of granting and use are stipulated in the file for each piece of visual content.
