Inventory of movable heritage

This database, developed by Urban, includes descriptive data sheets on the region's movable heritage, such as works of art, archaeological objects, photographs, manuscripts, antiques, collections of all kinds, etc. Use the keyword "Art Nouveau" to access all the Art Nouveau objects listed in the capital.

The UNESCO World Heritage List

Throughout the world, UNESCO encourages the identification, protection and preservation of heritage considered to be of outstanding value to humanity. In Brussels, no fewer than five remarkable Art Nouveau buildings are on the World Heritage List, including four major creations by Victor Horta and Stoclet Palace, designed by Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann.

Urban's Documentation Centre

The Documentation Centre collects, manages and makes available to the internal and external public a range of resources relating to Brussels and the subjects dealt with by Urban: library, photo library and administrative archives. An "Art Nouveau" selection from the library catalogue allows you to discover all the publications available for consultation on site and by appointment.
