Exhibition: “Brussels. Short stories, great history.”

An exhibition for children aged 10 to 110

Immerse yourself in the history of Brussels as you have never seen it before!

Did Brussels have one or two city walls? Who bombed Brussels in 1695? Who is perched on top of the town hall?

Whether you are young or slightly less young, a history buff or just curious… This exhibition invites you to discover the big and small historic events that took place in the Brussels Capital Region in the Middle Ages and Modern Times.

Meet iconic figures such as Manneken Pis, Breugel or Charles V, relive key events and explore a heritage as rich as it is fascinating. This visit will leave you smiling, your head full of discoveries and your heart wishing to explore Brussels… in flesh and stone!

And for those wanting to play, a challenge awaits at the end of the exhibition: reconstruct a mini timeline to test your knowledge.

Do check out this playful and fun exhibition, which is accessible to all.
