Curious about the history, architectural challenges and restoration of the interior of Casa Vicens, Antoni Gaudí's Art Nouveau gem in Barcelona?
Don't miss this lecture on November 6th at 6.30pm at the MAD Brussels.
Take the opportunity to learn more about this first work built by the modernist architect in 1885. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, the building has been renovated and restored from 2015 to 2017 under the direction of David García of architecture studio DAW Office.
The lecture, which is free of charge upon reservation, will be held in English and followed by a drink.
An event organised in collaboration with Urban, the Réseau Art Nouveau Network (RANN), MAD Brussels and the Spanish Embassy in Belgium as part of the Art Nouveau Brussels 2023 programme.
Art nouveau enthusiasts?
Enjoy the "NUEVO NOUVEAU" exhibition, also on view at the MAD Brussels, and its guest of honor: the Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon, who embodies the essence of the Art Nouveau movement today and whose work is being presented for the first time in our capital!
