As part of the "Art Nouveau Brussels 2023" year, Urban is sponsoring a number of initiatives to highlight Brussels' Art Nouveau. Following a call to local authorities to raise the profile of this exceptional year with contemporary works, the municipality of Ganshoren has offered to showcase the work of a Ganshoren artist on a municipal building.
The artist, Beloved Lab, has created a work of art using entirely recycled plastic, inspired by the world-renowned Brussels artist Privat Livemont. This contemporary and (trendy) work establishes a significant link with the building and addresses the contemporary environmental challenges of our time.
The street art work, inaugurated on Thursday 16 November, will embellish one of the walls of the Nereus swimming pool.
