Discover the winning photographs at the Halles Saint-Géry
For a number of years, Urban has been developing photographic awareness campaigns and has been reporting on various ongoing building projects, newly developed neighbourhoods and our protected heritage.
These photos are a wonderful way of looking at the world and help build our shared memory. You can check them out under the Media tab.
Since 2021, the annual Urban ZOOM competition has been open to all occasional or lifelong photographers, amateurs as well as professionals.
The 2023 edition of the competition was inspired by the Brussels Art Nouveau Year and asked participants to provide their view of the heritage from that period. Fifty-one photographers contributed by sending in several photos for specialist scrutiny.
After a long and thorough selection process, you can now discover the photographs that won over the jury in an exhibition you can visit free of charge in the Halles Saint-Géry, from 7 December 2023 until 31 January 2024.
