Carve your own fantasy arabesque and discover the craft of stonecutting
CIVA, in collaboration with the Horta Museum, offers an intergenerational workshop on stone and the curves that characterise this emblematic movement.
Inspired by the preserved stones of the Hôtel Aubecq, participants can experiment with curves, calligraphy and stone carving, thanks to stone carver Marie-Christine De Belder. This extraordinary activity is also an opportunity to learn more about Art Nouveau from the experts at the Horta Museum.
Discover the Cauchie House and the sgraffito technique
The Cauchie House invites you to take part in themed guided tours based on the sgraffito technique and the preservation of this wonderful heritage.
The programme for this special day comprises guided tours of Caroline Voet and Paul Cauchie's personal home, enhanced by the superb sgraffiti created by the decorating couple, and an urban tour of the Cinquantenaire district to discover the achievements of Brussels' Art Nouveau facade decoration workshops.

Discover the restored cupola of the Hôtel van Eetvelde and immerse yourself in the world of the Hôtel Aubecq
Open to the public for one year from 6 May, the Hôtel van Eetvelde invites visitors to discover its extraordinary cupola, restored for the first time in 125 years!
Housed in the extension to the Hôtel de Maître, at 2 avenue Palmerston, LAB-AN also invites visitors to discover the "Aubecq: Fragments" exhibition, an immersive experience based on Victor Horta's major creation, the Hôtel Aubecq. The installation combines video and mapping on a stone façade, immersing the viewer in the whirlwind of this work, which was destroyed in 1950.
On 10 June, LAB-AN and Hôtel van Eetvelde will also be offering visitors a few surprises!
