Urban and ORG Urbanism & Architecture are sharing a stand and organising a workshop at the New European Bauhaus Festival!
The New European Bauhaus Festival
This bi-annual event highlights the actions of the New European Bauhaus (NEB), an initiative of the European Commission aimed at promoting a sustainable built environment, as well as better-quality spaces and a more inclusive living environment.
For this edition, the festival centres on the theme "Life.Spaces.Buildings" and will take place from 10 to 12 June at the Art & History Museum, located in the Cinquantenaire Park.
An opportunity to (re)discover the Manual of Public Spaces
In this context, the Manual of Public Spaces has been selected for the New European Bauhaus Festival, which highlights best practices.
The Manual of Public Spaces, developed by Urban, ORG Urbanism & Architecture and Bureau Bas Smets, as well as numerous stakeholders, is an evolving document that incorporates various guides, standards, plans and tools that define the regional objectives with regard to the development of public spaces.
In collaboration with ORG Urbanism & Architecture, Urban will present the Brussels Region’s ambitions for improving public spaces, with a better balance between different uses and greater consideration for the existing landscape and structures.
