LAB·AN, Brussels' centre for the promotion of Art Nouveau, recently celebrated its first anniversary. To mark the occasion, discover the programme for the coming months: a contemporary take on this Belgian, Brussels and international cultural heritage.

Stoclet palace

Discover more about the unique digital reconstruction of the interiors of the Stoclet House as it was around 1911.

The “Daughters” exhibition, which was installed at the Halles Saint-Géry and in the Hotel des Monnaies Metro Station last October, where the general public can still admire it today, is now welcomed at the LAB-AN x Hotel van Eetvelde, in an adapted form.

You can still take part in many activities over the coming months, including several exhibitions that are so successful that their run has been extended!

Take part in the round table in French, organized as part of the "Daughters" exhibition this December 7th at 6:30pm at the Halles Saint-Géry.

Conceived in the context of the Art Nouveau year, « Daughters » proposes to create a dialogue between past and present by connecting female Art Nouveau artists and contemporary female artists practising the same mediums (textile, silk painting, sculpture, engraving, etc.)

Did you know that Brussels has nearly a thousand Art Nouveau buildings? This summer, wander through our capital and discover Art Nouveau in all its diversity!

Thanks to the restoration/renovation work and the opening of the LAB·AN as part of the Art Nouveau 2023 year, come and discover the materials used by Victor Horta, the building's architect.

On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March 2023, the 8th Art Nouveau and Art Deco Collectors' and Valuation Fair will be held in the superb surroundings of an Art Nouveau school designed by Henri Jacobs and built between 1907 and 1922 - an event organized together with the Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco (BANAD) Festival.
